Summary
Once a court determines to issue a domestic abuse injunction, it must issue the injunction for the length of time requested by the petitioner. Since petitioner here asked for two years, the court was required to grant relief for two years, or not at all. Once the court grants an injunction, it must, if requested by petitioner, direct the sheriff to assist her.
